Adetunji Bouquiey Onigbajumo, known as Dr. Adetunji Bouquiey, is a Kingdom Psalmist and Minstrel on Heaven’s Mandate. He is a worship leader, musician, songwriter, and music coach who, despite his professional career in engineering, academics, and global business consultancy, remains dedicated to pursuing God’s Kingdom and His Mandate.
Envisioning a season of Heaven’s outpouring akin to the historic Azusa Street Revival, where the Lord encounters nations and new sounds are birthed, Adetunji has been instrumental in training numerous music giants. In 2022, he initiated the ‘Azusa Outpouring Project,’ bringing together his Kingdom Friends to form the musical group ‘Kings and Priests Nation.’
The Azusa Outpouring Project (Chapter 1) features eight songs, including several collaborations, all inspired and written by the Holy Spirit through Adetunji himself. The live recording took place on Sunday, November 20, 2022, in Lagos, Nigeria, and included songs like “AYO” by Ife MOJ (featuring the Kings and Priests Nation), “Hosanna,” and “Grace,” which were released in 2023.
In 2024, the Azusa Outpouring Project continues to bless audiences with the release of the “Messiah Medley.” This medley is a compilation of revival sounds from the 80s and 90s, predominantly sung by previous generations. Special thanks go to the C&S AYO NIO of the 90s for the timeless song “Ti Oluwa ni ile atekun re.” This medley revives the joy and power of past revivals, helping listeners reconnect with the spiritual fervor of our forebears. The song is underpinned by significant intercessory prayers, making it a conduit for miracles for those who listen and engage in prayer.
