In addressing the situation, MTN attributed the network disruption to multiple fibre cuts. However, the company assured its subscribers that its team of engineers is exerting maximum effort to rectify the issue and restore normal service operations.
This development occurs on a significant day, marked as the deadline for telecom operators to deactivate all lines not associated with the National Identification Number (NIN), as mandated by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
