Controversial socio-political activist and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has given a hint on who will emerge the winner of the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential primaries.

Applesbite reports that the nation’s main opposition party conducted its presidential primaries on Saturday to produce a standard flagbearer for the 2023 general elections.

Among the top contenders for the party’s ticket is the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal.

Although, Tambuwal has opted out of the race just a few moments into the commencement of the PDP primaries at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Saturday night.

Delegates from Abuja were the last to cast their votes last at the Abuja National Stadium venue of the PDP special national convention.

Reacting, however, to the completion of the voting process ahead of the final announcement of the results, Omokri took to his verified Twitter page to say he was impressed by the polls.

According to him, a name kept occurring more than others during the counting; this is expected as a winner must emerge.

In his submission, Omokri said the candidate whose name kept reoccurring would be Nigeria’s next president. He tweeted: “The votes are now being counted. One name keeps reoccurring more than others. Guess whose name it is? By God’s Grace he is the Next President of Nigeria!”

Though Omokri did not mention the name of the aspirant, there are speculations that he might be referring to Atiku.

Omokri has been using his social media platforms lately to canvas support for Atiku.

Meanwhile, Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has revealed what he would do if he fails to grab the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party.
