Insurance provider in Nigeria, NSIA Insurance, celebrated the 2025 Africa Day with a stunning cultural showcase across its Head Office and regional branches.
The event was a colourful gathering of togetherness, creativity, and total pride in African heritage.
Africa Day is observed on May 25 annually, and according to the African Union, the theme for 2025 was “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations.”
Speaking on the celebration, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NSIA, Moruf Apampa, said that the event was not just a celebration, but also a reflection of who we are as Africans.
He revealed that 2025 Africa Day proved that NSIA Insurance is a diverse, dynamic, and proudly African organisation that will keep reminding Nigerians of the strength that lies in our unity.
“Africa Day at NSIA Insurance is more than just a celebration. It’s a reflection of who we are – a diverse, dynamic, and proudly African organisation. This year’s event reminded us of the power of our shared roots and the strength that lies in our unity,” he said.
The celebration featured superb fashion parades, African dishes, and cultural trivia, and it definitely paved homage to Africa’s diversity. The memorable highlight of the day was the announcement of six winning teams, three each from the head office and the regions, who were awarded prizes for their commendable displays and participation.
