Bandit terrorists have reportedly asked residents from five villages in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State to vacate their homes or risk attacks.
The villages under threat were listed as; Sabon Zama, Gindin Dutse, Anguwan Tsohon Soldier, Anguwan Yuhana and Anguwan Mangu, all in the Wase local council, Naija News understands.

The report sighted earlier today, claimed that the terrorists stormed the villages fully armed, warning the residents to leave in five days or risk a war.

Ubale Pinau, a local who reportedly communicated the development to newsmen said Pinau, a village 11km away from Wase is currently under siege.

The source told the media platform on Tuesday that gunmen threatened to attack the area, advising them to vacate or else face the consequences.

He said many people had started trooping out of Pinau and other bigger towns for safety. However, the spokesperson of Operation Safe Haven, Major Ishaku Takwa, could not confirm the said quit notice as at the time the report was given.

Meanwhile, gunmen suspected to be bandit terrorists have reportedly kidnapped one Dr Mansur Mohammed in Zamfara State.

Applesbite learnt that the medical personnel and a yet-to-be-confirmed number of citizens were kidnapped along the Dansadau-Magami road last Saturday, June 25, 2022.

The development was confirmed to newsmen on Tuesday (yesterday) by the state chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA).
Applesbite understands from the report that Mansur is the Director-General of Dansadau General Hospital.

Reporting his abduction, NMA berated the security status of the state, urging the Federal and the State governments to rise up to the disturbing situations in the country.
