Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Obaseki disclosed this after he met with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.
The governor was disqualified from the APC primaries by the party’s Screening Committee over discrepancies in the names on his certificates.
He is expected to obtain the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming elections.
