Nollywood actress and reality TV star Bisola Aiyeola has said that she is no longer thinking about settling down.
The former BBNaija housemate recently revealed that she is not looking forward to having more kids as well.
Speaking on the Dear Ife podcast hosted by Ifedayo Agoro, the moviestar revealed that marriage is not something she is desperate for at this point in her life.
According to her, she set a personal age limit for childbearing many years ago, and she is past that age now, so having more children is not in her immediate plans.
“I’m not really keen on marriage any longer. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it’s okay too.
I gave myself an age marker; I don’t want to have babies after I clock 38. I have passed 38 and no man yet, so, I am just here and not actively looking forward to it,” she said.
On love and relationships, the TV presenter disclosed that she has actually gotten used to being alone over the years, despite the fact that she remains a lover girl.
Bisola concluded by saying that she is not desperately chasing marriage anymore because there is more to life than having a husband.
“I think I have gotten used to being alone. I love love, I still do. Love is sweet, it’s nice, it’s a beautiful thing, but reality is a different story.
Marriage is not a do-or-die affair. There are so many more things one can aspire to be besides getting married. I am not desperate for marriage,” she added.
