Former Mr. Nigeria International, Ajewole Emmanuel Odunayo, a.k.a Chill, has proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Adewale Adetutu Rachael, fondly called Ice.
It was a memorable night filled with love, laughter and heartfelt emotions as Ajewole Emmanuel’s shocking proposal earned a resounding “Yes” response from his woman.
The couple’s beautiful moment happened in the presence of their family, friends, and well-wishers, making it even more special.
Speaking to journalists, Ajewole described the proposal as a dream come true, admitting that he proposed to “an angel in human form.”
Revealing that his woman is “the answer to a prayer whispered in his darkest moments,” he thanked Adewale Adetutu Rachael for her constant support and affection over the years.
“She’s been my rock, accepting my flaws and helping me become a better man. At a time when I had given up on love, she reignited my faith in relationships and in myself,” he said.
Addressing his female admirers, the popular event and beauty pageant executive stated that while he intends to stay passionate about his job, he’ll remain committed to his woman and respect the boundaries of their relationship.
“I’m still dedicated to motivating and inspiring everyone, regardless of gender. But with Ice, I’m very intentional. I choose love and respect above all,” Chill said.
Ajewole and Adetutu are both prominent figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry; therefore, they understand the pressures and attention that come with the job.
Ajewole insisted that the trust he and his woman have built will continue to be the solid foundation of their union against all odds.
“She gets compliments too, but she has never given me a reason to doubt her loyalty. We choose each other every day,” he continued.
Ajewole is also the General Manager of the Holdingcore Empowerment Foundation, where he spearheads programmes that focus on youth empowerment, academic scholarships, and community support initiatives.
The couple is currently working on upcoming projects under the Ice&Chill brand with promises of partnerships and programmes that will positively impact their community.
“This is just the beginning. Love, purpose, and impact – that’s the path we’re walking together,” Ajewole added.
