Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, and Air Peace, West Africa’s leading carrier, have expanded their bilateral interline agreement to enhance connectivity between Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
The upgraded partnership enables travelers to book single-ticket journeys with through-checked baggage across both airlines’ networks, streamlining the travel experience on selected routes.
Expanded African Network
The enhanced agreement adds four new West African destinations to Emirates’ accessible network through Air Peace connections:
- Banjul, Gambia and Dakar, Senegal (via Abidjan)
- Freetown, Sierra Leone and Monrovia, Liberia (via Accra)
These additions complement the 13 Nigerian cities already available to Emirates passengers through Air Peace’s domestic network, significantly expanding options for travelers across the continent.
Key Routes and Benefits
Air Peace customers gain access to Emirates’ Dubai hub and premium European destinations including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and London Stansted—addressing substantial demand on the Nigeria-UK corridor. Meanwhile, international travelers can now reach deeper into West and Central Africa through Air Peace’s regional network.

Air Peace operates a fleet exceeding 50 aircraft, including Boeing 777s, 737s, and Embraer jets, serving an expanding network of domestic, regional, and international routes across Africa and beyond.
