Justice Chukwujeku Aneke of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has adjourned proceedings in a case questioning the educational qualifications and official declarations of Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.
The matter, which relates to submissions made to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the 2014, 2019, and 2023 general elections, was postponed on Tuesday, with the court setting July 9, 2026, as the next date for hearing.
The suit challenges the accuracy and validity of the documents and information provided by the governor during the electoral processes. Further proceedings are expected to continue on the adjourned date.
