The founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has disclosed what he described as a divine revelation concerning Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election, offering spiritual assessments of three leading presidential contenders.
Speaking during a church service in a video that has since gained widespread attention online, the cleric said he holds all three candidates in high regard and stressed that his comments were not driven by personal bias or political preference.
According to Oyakhilome, each of the candidates has made meaningful contributions to Nigeria and deserves respect. However, he said his observations were based on what he claimed to have seen spiritually rather than on their public records or political campaigns.
The pastor stated that his first concern involved a candidate whom he said appeared to be under the influence of a dark spiritual force.
He claimed that during prayer, he saw a sinister spirit symbolically operating through the individual and described the force as deceptive and manipulative. Oyakhilome further revealed that he heard the candidate referred to as a “jackal,” a term he later researched. According to him, the word signifies deception, trickery, and acting on behalf of others to mislead people.
Turning to the second candidate, the cleric said he received what he described as a stern warning. He claimed that during prayer, he was told that electing the individual could have severe consequences for the nation, saying the message suggested Nigeria’s future would be at risk under such leadership.
Regarding the third candidate, Oyakhilome said he saw a different picture. He described the individual as appearing uncertain and fearful, not only of losing the election but also of the responsibility that could come with victory.
The preacher added that he prayed for the candidate to receive courage and strength to fulfil any future role he might be called upon to undertake.
Oyakhilome declined to reveal the identities of the first two individuals, citing the sensitive nature of his position as a spiritual leader. He noted that he considers all the candidates his spiritual children and prefers to avoid direct political endorsements.
Nevertheless, he maintained that he could not ignore what he believed God had shown him and urged Nigerians to continue praying for the country as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
While withholding the names of the first two candidates, the cleric hinted that the identity of the third individual could be inferred, noting that the person’s name appears in the Bible.
