Nollywood actor and Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu, has reacted to the clash in the BBNaija house that led to the disqualification of one of the housemates, Faith. Recall that Faith recently had a clash with Sultana during a task preparation, and his action during the back and forth resulted in his disqualification on Thursday afternoon.
Reacting, Uti shared that it is narcissistic for anyone to label a person who caused a trigger a victim, while the one who reacted without being physical is tagged the abuser.
Pointing out that both Faith and Sultana could have acted better during their scuffle, the media personality stated that Nigerians should not forget that a trigger is just as grave as the reaction.
“Saw this and ALL I COULD THINK OF WAS FAITH.
In his own words – IT TAKES TWO.
Could she have acted better – YES!
Could he have handled it better – YES!
A TRIGGER is just as grave as a REACTION. it is incredibly Narcissistic to label the one who triggered/created/fueled the situation a VICTIM
and then Label the one who reacted (without hitting the other) – an Abuser,” he wrote.
Uti further noted that he is not defending Faith’s behaviour in any way, and he is only trying to make his fellow citizens learn to respond to conflict.
He concluded by saying that 2025 should be the year to learn important lessons without being sentimental.
“However the onus is on us to learn to respond appropriately. Las las we are all human and our 20s is for Adulthood learning.
This is not defending anyone. It’s analysing what we all watched live – not internet clips.
Learn the lessons and dead sentiments – this is 2025 , Let’s be guided,” he added.
