Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked fresh controversy with another bold statement.
The actor recently shared that he charges nothing less than N20M as an appearance fee whenever he attends any event.
Speaking via his social media page, the movie star said that he demands such an amount because he never attends the gatherings alone.
According to him, his entourage includes the ancestors and ten thousand spirits from his ancestral towns, so it is only fair for their fees to be added to the amount he asks for.
Flaunting a post that showcased his recent attendance at a friend’s father’s funeral, Yul backed up his statement with visual proof.
“When I charge you 20 million naira to make an appearance at your event, I do not come alone.
I come with all my ancestors and ten thousand spirits from Nteje & Umudioka” he wrote.
The movie star noted that the latest town he stepped into caught fire as soon as he landed because of his heavy presence.
Edochie stressed that his presence was definitely felt when he attended the burial ceremony, and it was a memorable outing for him and everyone who showed up.
“On this day, Nsugbe was on fire.
I stepped out to support my good friend, Barr. Tochukwu Nweke (SAN) Omelora
as he laid his father to rest.
ISI MMILI JI OFOR 1 of Igbo Land.
EZEDIKE 1 na Nteje Aborgu” he added.
