Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has appreciated her longtime colleague, Kudi Alagbo, for her role in raising Priscilla Ojo.
She recently had her say during the final celebration of Juma Jux and Priscilla’s elaborate wedding in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, after more than five ceremonies held in both Tanzania and Nigeria already.
Speaking via her social media page, Iyabo shared that Kudi more than filled in for her in Priscilla’s life, especially when she was juggling motherhood and her Nollywood career.
Recalling the days she’ll move from location to location, hustling for money to take care of her family, the moviestar thanked Kudi for making herself available when her daughter needed someone to nurture and guide her.
According to the filmmaker, during those days when she was completely occupied at movie locations, Kudi never failed to step in as a mother and guardian, and she is forever grateful.
“This is part of the people that raised Priscilla, this is Mummy Priscilla.
Thank you, so much. For those times, I hunt for jobs, when I go to locations
You will stay at home to stand in gap for me,” she said.
Ojo further hailed Kudi Alagbo for giving her kids the necessary training they needed to be responsible adults, including beating them whenever they proved stubborn.
She concluded by saying that Kudi also taught Priscilla how to cook, emphasising that she might be her daughter’s real mother.
“You will feed and care for her and Festus.
You do give them all the necessary training, including beating them once in a while.
This is the real Mama Priscilla, she was the one that taught Priscilla how to cook.
She was the one that bathed her, fed her, and took her to school.
Thank you, so much,” she added.
