Nollywood and Nigerian High Commission in London Strengthen Ties for a Flourishing Creative Industry
In a significant step towards enhancing the Nigerian Creative Industry, a delegation led by the National President of the Association of Movie Producers, Amb. Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson, alongside renowned personalities such as Famous Otakponmwen, Victoria Inyama, and Queen Atud, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian High Commission in London.
The delegation was warmly received by the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Sarafa Tunji Isola, and the Minister/Head of Information Culture and Sports, Bukar Alkali Abdulsalam. During the meeting, both parties engaged in fruitful discussions regarding the future of Nollywood and the vital role of the government in fostering a stronger collaboration within the Creative Industry.

The Nigerian High Commissioner expressed his admiration and commendation for the contributions of Nollywood producers in projecting Nigeria’s culture and creativity on the global stage. He lauded their efforts in showcasing the rich talent and diverse stories that Nollywood brings to audiences worldwide.
Amb. Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and the willingness of the Commission to partner with the Association of Movie Producers. She emphasized the importance of governmental support in providing an enabling environment for Nollywood’s growth and its continued success.
