His Excellency, Senator Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel, FNSE, FAEng., FNIMechE, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba II, GCON, on his memorable reign as the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland.
He recently expressed his utmost admiration for the work the highly respected monarch has done and is still doing.
Otunba Gbenga Daniel said that Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Adetona’s leadership deserves a lot of praise for being a pillar of strength and wisdom in Ijebuland.
According to him, the Ijebus have enjoyed peace, unity and sustained growth under the king’s reign, and it is all thanks to Oba Sikiru Adetona’s unbreakable commitment to the prosperity and cultural development of Ijebuland.
Gbenga Daniel, the Otunba Obalofin of Ijebuland, hailed the Kabiyesi for being an example for other kings to emulate, stressing that his achievements have deservedly earned him respect in the whole of Nigeria, not just Ijebu alone.
He then prayed for an increase in Oba Sikiru Adetona’s success and wisdom as the Ijebu nation nears the highly anticipated creation of a new state from the historic Ijebu Province.
Praying for the king’s continued reign in good health, Otunba Gbenga Daniel asked God to keep blessing his throne and legacy.
He also congratulated the esteemed Giwas, efficient Iyalodes, and the brave officers of the 88 active Regberegbes of Ijebuland, hailing them for their unwavering commitment to the values of the great Ijebuland.
Gbenga Daniel concluded by saluting everyone for their efforts in preserving the growth of Ijebu’s beautiful traditions, while praying for the spirit of Ijebuland to keep shining brightly across generations.
