A prophetic warning issued by Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church to boxer Anthony Joshua in October 2024 has resurfaced following the tragic car accident that claimed the lives of two of the athlete’s friends.
The accident occurred as Joshua was traveling from the airport. Reports indicate the boxer narrowly escaped death after switching seats with one of his companions, who tragically did not survive the crash.
In October 2024, during a prophetic session, Primate Ayodele had specifically cautioned Joshua about impending spiritual challenges. The cleric urged the boxer to undertake what he termed “spiritual cleansing” to protect himself from forces that could threaten his career and wellbeing.
“Anthony Joshua, you still have a future, don’t let them kill your glory. There is a need for you to do spiritual cleansing; there is a battle that will arise against you. Don’t let them kill your glory prematurely. Sincerely, you need prayers,” the prophet stated at the time.
The timing of Ayodele’s warning, issued months before the fatal incident, has drawn renewed attention to his prophetic ministry. While the cleric has not yet commented on whether additional challenges may lie ahead for Joshua, his earlier statement continues to generate discussion among his followers and critics alike.
Primate Ayodele, who has been in prophetic ministry for over three decades, remains a controversial figure in Nigeria’s religious landscape, with his prophecies frequently sparking debate across social media platforms.
