Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has come out to address women in abusive relationships.
She recently cautioned such women to never ignore the red flags during dating.
Speaking via her Instagram story, Etinosa revealed that any man who hits or shoves his partner while they’re still dating will only get worse after marriage.
According to her, any slight form of abuse while he is still a boyfriend will only grow into full-blown beatings when he becomes a husband.
She stated that some unlucky women even get to experience major beatings before they tie the knot.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this but if he’s putting hands on you while dating, shoving you, hitting your hand, pushing your head as ordinary boyfriend… Be rest assured it will graduate to full blown beatings when you get married. Even before the marriage sef. He will beat you,” she wrote.
Etinosa further advised women to immediately cut ties with such men once they start noticing their aggressive tendencies.
She concluded by saying that any woman who decides to tolerate such behaviour should be ready to face serious consequences.
