President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Saturday for official visits to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States as part of his year-end engagements.

Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, announced the trip in a statement released Friday night.

During his visit to Borno State, the President will commission multiple projects executed through a partnership between Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s administration and the Federal Government. These projects form part of the infrastructure development and post-conflict rehabilitation initiatives in the North-East.

While in Maiduguri, Tinubu will also attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Governor Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, to Hadiza Kam Salem.

The President will then travel to Bauchi State to pay a condolence visit to the state government and the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, a prominent Islamic scholar and spiritual leader. The respected cleric, who led the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, died on November 27.

After Bauchi, President Tinubu will head to Lagos State, where he plans to spend the rest of the holiday season.
