The musician clarified that he personally posted the original separation announcement, countering earlier suggestions of unauthorized account access.
2Face revealed that previous posts about the breakup were removed, apparently in an attempt by his management to manage the situation. Through his video, he aimed to provide direct communication to his fans and the public about the status of his marriage to Annie Macaulay.
The couple, who married in 2012 and have two daughters, had previously renewed their marital vows in March 2022 during their 10th anniversary celebration.
