If you have followed the story of Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi, wife of the Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, you will know it has been a roller coaster year.
The last 365 days for her have been filled with sweet and bitter experiences, but in all, she has remained thankful to her creator for the gift of life when she celebrated her 47th birthday on Saturday, November 11.
While she was being celebrated by her family and friends with a surprise praise and worship session by Yinka Alaseyori, Olori Sekinat couldn’t hold back her tears as she wept uncontrollably in her husband’s palace.
While many stood behind her, petting her, some said she should be allowed to express her emotions and that it was tears of joy owing to the hurdle she has crossed this year.
Despite various rumors and death tales, her birthday allowed her to praise her creator with much gusto through music and dance steps.
