Lagos State has sealed a strategic collaboration with Marketing Analytics Africa to host the 2025 African Marketing Technology & E-commerce Conference.
The event is set to foster partnership among leading brands, marketers, and investors across Africa.
Themed “Marketing in the New Economy: Data-Driven Success in Challenging Times,” the conference is scheduled to happen on May 24, 2025, at the Landmark Events & Conference Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Industry leaders are expected to unite to rub minds on cutting-edge marketing innovations, data intelligence, and the evolving landscape of e-commerce.
Speaking via a press statement recently, the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund reiterated its commitment to delivering an enabling environment for business owners while creating several job opportunities for Lagos residents.
The Fund described its partnership with MAA as a key initiative that will position Lagos State as a vibrant hub for marketing technology and digital commerce.
According to the co-founder and CEO of Marketing Analytics Africa, Victor Ojeakhena, he emphasised that AMTEC is a yearly event that unites leaders, executives, and data strategists to explore quality trends and technologies shaping the continent’s marketing sector.
He stated that the conference will go a long way towards empowering brands with digital strategies, fostering sustainable partnerships, and accelerating scalable growth despite economic difficulties.
Thus far, the gathering has successfully attracted top speakers and partners, including representatives from Colgate, Sterling Bank, First Bank, DStv Nigeria, Indomie, and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria.
Industry experts like the Chief Executive of ARCON, Dr Olalekan Fadolapo, and the Chief Marketing Officer at Sterling Bank, Maurice Igugu, are expected to break down their expertise on emerging marketing regulations and customer experience optimisation.
Its organisers have said that AMTEC 2025 will not just showcase the role of data and emerging technologies in driving business success, but it will also serve as a key platform for networking among professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors who are looking to collaborate on innovative solutions that can transform Africa’s digital economy.
