African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has appointed two new aides as part of efforts to strengthen his political structure ahead of the 2027 general election.
A statement by the Atiku Media Office on Wednesday named Alh. Aliyu Bello as Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement, and Dr. Victor Moses as Special Assistant on Community Engagement.
The statement described Bello as a journalist, entrepreneur, international trader, and grassroots politician with a background in mentoring youth. He holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication, alongside certifications in Leadership and Business Management. Before joining the ADC, he served two terms as Kaduna State Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and later as the party’s Financial Secretary in the state.
According to the statement, Bello’s experience across media, business, and grassroots politics positions him to deepen youth participation and expand the party’s community networks.
Dr. Victor Moses was described as a scholar, public affairs strategist, and entrepreneur with nearly 20 years of experience in strategic communication, political mobilisation, and grassroots engagement. He holds a Ph.D in Psychology and has served as National Publicity Secretary of the Atiku Support Organisation (ASO) since 2021, a role in which he has led stakeholder and grassroots mobilisation efforts.
Atiku congratulated both appointees, expressing confidence in their ability to contribute to the party’s shared vision.
