Big Brother Naija star Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has reportedly been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force in Lagos.
The reported arrest was disclosed by Nigerian film producer and Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON), Seun Oloketuyi, in a post shared on his Instagram page on Sunday.
According to Oloketuyi, Tacha was arrested at her residence in Ajah after allegedly failing to respond to three invitations extended to her by the police between May and August 2026.
He wrote that the reality TV star was picked up at her residence early Sunday morning after she reportedly ignored the previous invitations.
The circumstances surrounding the arrest have not been independently confirmed by the police at the time of this report.
Tacha is reportedly being questioned in connection with allegations arising from statements she made online concerning a man she accused of rape, child molestation and trafficking.
In a video that circulated online, the reality TV star alleged that the unnamed man was involved in trafficking young people to Europe under the guise of offering them scholarship opportunities.
She also warned members of the public to be cautious of the individual while making serious allegations against him.
It remains unclear whether the allegations made by Tacha are directly responsible for her reported arrest or what specific offences the police may be investigating.
Meanwhile, Tacha recently spoke about the influence of her late mother on her career and personal achievements.
In an interview with Daily Sun, the reality star described her mother as hardworking and prayerful, saying her memory continues to motivate her to succeed in the entertainment and beauty industries.
Tacha said she feels a strong responsibility to make her late mother proud through her accomplishments.
She added that if her mother had access to the opportunities available to her today, she believes she would have achieved even more.
