Veteran Nollywood actor Afeez Oyetoro a.k.a Saka has revealed the demand he once received from a woman he intended to marry.
He recently had his say during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, and fans have been reacting.
After approaching a woman he saw as a potential wife during his bachelor days, Saka said that she made a shocking demand for her to even consider his marital request.
According to him, the lady insisted that he must own 2 cars before she would agree to be his wife, a response he never saw coming.
“The one that I was supposed to marry was demanding that I must have two cars,” he said.
The moviestar further clarified that, contrary to what people thought after his adverts for Etisalat, he was never an ambassador for the network.
Saka concluded by saying that the telecommunication company merely used him as a model for their TV ads.
“A lot of people thought I was an ambassador to Etisalat. No. I didn’t have any formal or official arrangement. I am just a model…” he added.
Meanwhile, Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde recently said that there will be tough days in every marriage.
She revealed that there are times when she looks at her husband and she doesn’t feel in love with him.
According to her, she goes to God during her marital crisis not because she is madly in love with her husband, but to honour her Creator who brought them together to start a family.
“There are times when I look at him and I’m not in love. I go to God and report him. I honour him not because I’m head over heels in love at that moment, but because I honour the One who gave me the mandate to be with him.
There are times I look at him and think, ‘Somebody please remind me why I married this man.’ And he probably feels the same way about me. Those days come,” she said.
