Popular Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta is mourning after the death of his son. The moviestar recently broke the news via his Instagram page without going into detail about what led to his boy’s demise.
Sharing a picture of his late child, he wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, Dear son, champ.”
Following the sad announcement, Ibrahim Chatta’s colleagues and fans stormed his comment section with their condolence messages.
The tragic incident has thrown the Nollywood community into mourning, with well-wishers expressing shock at the latest tragedies after news broke days ago that veteran actress Peju Ogunmola lost her only child.
Chatta had recounted in June how he lost his first child, a daughter, years ago
Attributing her death to financial hardship and inadequate medical care, Chatta disclosed that he had to bury his daughter in an old wooden Coca-Cola crate because he could not afford a proper coffin.
