The Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria (AMP) has appointed renowned human rights activist Dr. Joe Okei Odumakin as Patron of the association following a courtesy visit on Monday, January 12.
Led by National President Amb. Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson, the AMP delegation visited Dr. Odumakin to recognize her dedication to defending the rights of the vulnerable and promoting justice across Nigeria.
Dr. Odumakin, widow of the late Comrade Oluyinka Odumakin, received the AMP team warmly at the facility that houses five civil and human rights organizations, including Women Arise and the Oluyinka Odumakin Foundation. Mr. Elijah Ajanu-Ojo, Research Fellow, and Mr. Gbenga Ganzallo, Coordinator of Research and Program and Head of Secretariat, conducted a tour of the premises.
During the visit, AMP presented Dr. Odumakin with an Award of Excellence and Certificate of Investiture, formally appointing her as Patron. She accepted the honor and pledged to work with AMP toward achieving shared objectives.
The delegation included Hon. Shan Walker George (National Vice President), Mr. Anthony Chukumah (National Secretary), Mr. Ojie Eniola Asuelime (National Financial Secretary), Mrs. Favour Benson Ogbodo (National Publicity Secretary), and Miss Gloria Okafor (National Welfare Secretary).
