The 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) delivered the expected glamour, fashion and celebration that movie fans in Africa are now used to. Held in Lagos, Nigeria, the star-studded AMVCA 2025 event united producers, actors and creatives from all over the continent to reward TV series and movies which stood out in the period under review.

From the stunning red carpet to the amazing acceptance speeches, AMVCA 2025 was another reminder that Africa is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to its storytelling and creativity.

The 2025 event recognized both emerging talents and established movie stars who dazzled viewers in projects that fell under the drama, comedy, reality, and documentary categories. It was indeed an unforgettable night of memorable performances, shocking wins, and heartfelt tributes that flaunted the depth of talent in African entertainment.
