Atiku hires 19 SANs to challenge Tinubu’s victory in the elections
Briefing newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, Atiku said about 19 SANs are already on the ground to take up the case, asking them to “establish the claim of illegality in the election and reclaim the mandate of the Nigerian people.”
The legal team is headed by a seasoned litigation and commercial lawyer, JK Gadzama.
The former vice president declared that it is crucial to passing through this process not just for himself and t120he PDP but also to reinforce constitutional democracy and safeguard it for future generations.
The list of SANs includes Chris Uche, Paul Usoro, Tayo Jegede, Ken Mozia, Mahmood Magaji, Mike Ozekhome, Joe Abraham, Garba Tetengi Chukwuma Umeh, and Emeka Etiaba.
Others include Goddy Uche, Professor Maxwell Gidado; PDP’s National Legal Adviser A.K. Ajibade; O.M. Atoyebi; Nella Rabana; Paul Ogbole; Nuremi Jimoh, and Abdul Ibrahim.
Recall that the president-elect, Tinubu had also employed 12 SANs to defend his mandate.
