Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emerged as the early frontrunner in the presidential primaries of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), securing victories in five states as the party’s delegate voting continues ahead of the 2027 general election.
Results announced from several states on Tuesday showed Atiku gaining significant support among party delegates, giving him an early advantage over other aspirants contesting for the ADC presidential ticket.
