Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has announced the birth of his son with his wife.
The actor shared the news in an Instagram post on Monday, accompanied by maternity photos of himself and his wife. He revealed the baby’s name as King Kagar Omiyinka and thanked God for the new arrival.
Baba Ijesha wrote that God had been writing a story “only He could tell,” adding that he was grateful for a healthy baby boy and praised his wife for becoming the mother of his son.
The post drew congratulatory comments from fans, friends, and colleagues in the entertainment industry, many of whom celebrated the couple in the comment section.
Baba Ijesha regained his freedom in November 2025 after serving a prison term over his conviction in a child sexual assault case. Despite the conviction, he has repeatedly denied being a paedophile or rapist, claiming he was lured into the incident that led to his imprisonment, a denial he repeated during a March 22, 2026 interview with broadcaster Yinka Ayefele on Fresh FM.
