The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, is set to be crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Investigations carried out by The PUNCH Online have revealed that Ladoja’s nomination has earned Governor Seyi Makinde’s approval.
According to reports, the state delegation met with Ladoja and other members of the Olubadan-In-Council at his Bodija private residence on Wednesday.
A media aide to Oba Rashidi Ladoja, Adeola Oloko, further confirmed the development, stressing that his principal would take place at the popular Mapo Hall in Ibadan.
“Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.
The ceremony is billed for the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital,” he said.
Recall that Oba Rashidi Ladoja met with the kingmakers at his residence on Tuesday, 19th of April 2025.
