Popular Nigerian comedian, Samuel Perry, widely known as Broda Shaggi, has broken his silence following a near-fatal shooting incident in Sango-Ota, Ogun State.
The skit maker was hospitalized after reportedly sustaining a gunshot while filming a comedy skit. According to a police source, Shaggi was rushed to Blooming Care Hospital in Alakuko, Lagos, where he received immediate medical attention.
“He was filming under the Sango-Ota bridge when he was shot. Details are still unclear, but his team quickly took him to the hospital,” the source said.
Amid concerns for his health, Broda Shaggi shared a cryptic message on Instagram, hinting at personal struggles and restraint. He wrote: “But if you are gonna leave this world behind, leave it as a good person… it is 4am and I wish like pouring out my mind but I can’t cos they will be deleted.”
The incident has sparked widespread reactions online, with fans expressing relief at his survival and wishing him a speedy recovery.
