Billionaire industrialist and BUA Group Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has said his entry into the Holy Kaaba with President Bola Tinubu was a rare spiritual privilege that he will cherish for the rest of his life.
Rabiu made this known in a Facebook post on Sunday night, in which he shared a photograph of himself with the president.
“Some moments in life are beyond words, moments that touch the soul and remain forever engraved in the heart,” he wrote.
He said he felt humbled and blessed to be among those granted the honour of entering the Kaaba with Tinubu, describing it as “a once-in-a-lifetime blessing” and “a moment of divine grace.”
According to him, his prayers at the sacred site were not only for himself and his family but for the entire nation.
“May Almighty Allah accept our prayers and bless our beloved nation with lasting peace, unity, and prosperity,” he added.
Rabiu was part of the delegation that accompanied Tinubu to Makkah on Friday for Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage. Others in the delegation included Oando Group Chief Executive Officer, Wale Tinubu, state governors and senior government officials.
At a dinner hosted for the delegation in Makkah on Saturday, Rabiu pledged the continued support of the business community for the Tinubu administration and thanked the president for the rare spiritual opportunity.
After performing the Umrah, Tinubu told journalists he felt fulfilled, describing the experience as spiritual.
