Founder and President of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has unveiled a range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand, signaling the church’s growing interest in technology, innovation and economic development.
Oyakhilome unveiled the vehicles during The New Economy Unveiling 2026 with Pastor Chris, an event organized as part of the church’s economic and innovation-focused program.
Videos from the event, which emerged on social media on Tuesday, showed Oyakhilome presenting several models, including the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision series, Vision Coupe and OG series.
During the presentation, Oyakhilome disclosed that some features of the vehicles were still undergoing refinement, including the design of the steering wheel.
He also explained that the initials “OG” used for one of the vehicle series mean “Of God.”
The unveiling was attended by other Christian leaders, including Pastor Bolaji Idowu, founder of Harvesters International Christian center.
Reacting to the development, Idowu described the electric vehicles as evidence of the church’s ability to extend its influence beyond religious activities and make an impact in the marketplace.
Idowu said the development demonstrated that the church could contribute solutions to societal challenges rather than merely waiting for others to provide them.
The unveiling represents a notable expansion of Christ Embassy’s activities into the technology and electric vehicle space, adding automobile development to its wider emphasis on innovation and economic empowerment.
The development also comes as interest in electric mobility continues to grow in Nigeria, where rising energy costs and the search for alternatives to petrol-powered transportation have increased attention on electric vehicles and related technologies.
While details about the manufacturing process, ownership structure, production capacity and commercial availability of the Tsion vehicles were not provided in the report, the unveiling has generated significant interest online.
