Pastor John Anosike has prophesied that popular Afrobeats singer Davido will become Nigeria’s president someday.
He recently had his say during a sermon in his church, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Speaking to his congregation, Pastor John said that he saw the singer kneeling before Jesus in a vision, and it ultimately led to Davido being anointed for the national task ahead.
According to him, David Adeleke has been appointed to unite Nigeria and deliver economic freedom, and despite his current profession as an artist, he must fulfil God’s purpose for him on earth.
The clergyman stated that God calls Davido his servant, who has been chosen as a vessel to bring Nigerians together.
“There is a young man in my country that is known for his music. He’s a young boy, jumping, singing, all kinds of things. Dancing this way. But that one, God has poured oil on him.
He calls him my servant. This is my first time of speaking publicly. His name is Davido. God said, for he is my servant. For he shall be president of Nigeria and he shall unite the country,” he said.
He further maintained that even though the entertainer has chosen secular music as his career path, Davido has already been marked by his Creator to fulfil the prophecy.
“Yet this guy is jumping up singing and you know he’s a secular musician, but yet chosen by God,” he added.
