The Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) personally led a team of police operatives in a coordinated operation that resulted in the arrest of three suspected kidnappers in Bwari.
According to reports, the operation was carried out with the CP actively participating alongside officers in the field, demonstrating direct leadership in tackling criminal activities within the territory. A video circulating online shows the moment the suspects were apprehended during the mission.
The arrests are part of ongoing efforts by the FCT Police Command to curb kidnapping and improve security across Abuja and its surrounding areas.
The development has sparked mixed reactions online, with some praising the CP for taking a hands-on approach to policing, while others questioned the presence of a media crew during the operation and described the move as a publicity stunt.
