Dr. Dauda Lawal, Governor of Zamfara State, received the New Telegraph Governor of the Year Award for Projects at a ceremony held at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos on Friday, February 13, 2026. The award was presented by Aremo Olusegun Osoba, former Ogun State Governor and APC stalwart, alongside Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, New Telegraph Publisher and former Abia State Governor.
