A man identified as Christopher Bakare, the farm supervisor of the late former Oyo State Governor, Adebayo Alao Akala, has been kidnapped.
Bakare was abducted on Saturday 16th July at TDB farms situated at Jabata Area, Surulere Local Government Area of the State.

Speaking in an interview, a family source confirmed the kidnap stating the abductors were speaking a bit of Yoruba Language.
The kidnappers were said to be demanding a hundred million Naira ransom but the family have been trying to negotiate with them.
The family source added that the Police have been informed of the latest development.
The source said: “Yes, he has been kidnapped. Those guys speak a smattering of Yoruba. He was kidnapped in the farm. We have been trying to negotiate with them even though the police have been informed.”
Meanwhile, the state Commandant of Western Nigeria Security Network, (WNSN,) known as Amotekun, Olayinka Olayanju, has refuted having any knowledge about the incident.
