Former BBNaija housemate Beauty Tukura has opened up about the emotional turmoil she endured following her disqualification from the house. She recently opened up about the intense pressure she faced inside and outside the house, saying that the criticism felt overwhelming.
Speaking to the press, Beauty expressed frustration with online commentators, stating that people have grown so used to not giving others grace to change, forgetting that life is constantly evolving.
According to her, even though she was so ashamed to meet her parents after the shameful disqualification, they continued to reach out with messages of love, reminding her of their support.
The reality star disclosed that she believed nothing she said would make sense because everyone was crucifying her.
“The heat was too much, and personally, I felt like nothing I said was going to make sense because all they wanted to do was crucify me like Jesus. It was very hard.
I was too ashamed to see them. I didn’t know how to face them. I was in a very bad place,” she said.
Beauty further noted that the judgment from strangers made her feel very isolated, stressing that she even contemplated suicide at some point.
The actress concluded by thanking her fans across the globe for helping her heal and overcome her darkest moment.
“I cried every day. I was thinking of ending it. I almost actually committed suicide.
That was the lowest point of my life, and I’ve decided it will stay that way. There’s no room for such mistakes anymore,” she added.
