Popular singer 9ice, has said that he once experienced a spiritual attack that lasted for six months.
He recently revealed that the mysterious ordeal started in and continued into 2010.
Speaking during a recent episode of The Nancy Isime Show, Alapomeji shared that the condition, which was not medical, made him vomit blood for half a year.
According to him, after trying conventional treatments and seeing no improvement for months, he began to feel better after he met an Ifa priest.
The “Street Credibility” crooner stated that he wished he had known the Ifa priest earlier because he suffered for far too long.
“When I was vomiting blood for about six months in my own house, I had to leave. It wasn’t a medical condition.
The first time I experienced ifa was when I was vomiting blood. Someone referred me, and I just wished I had known ifa earlier,” he said.
9ice further noted that he no longer identifies as either Christian or Muslim, but rather as a traditionalist.
He concluded by referring to himself as a Babalawo, stressing that he’ll be embracing his roots henceforth.
“I’m not a Christian or a Muslim, I’m a Babalawo. I’m an African. I’m a traditionalist.
Fela used to go to Ogun and people mocked him, but now I understand,” he added.
