Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has said that she is open to getting married again.
The talented moviestar recently revealed that it’s an idea she is very open to as long as she finds the right partner.
Speaking during an interview with BBC Yoruba, Wright opened up about love, marriage and self-worth.
According to her, even though she believes marriage is not compulsory for any man or woman, she still likes the idea of settling down with a partner.
Bukky stated that while she does not advise women to get married because she fancies the idea of marriage, she really has nothing against a woman having a husband.
“I’ll still love to get married again if I find the right partner.
It’s something I like, but only if God forbids it. I don’t tell women to try it, because I like it,” she said.
Bukky Wright further noted that she wouldn’t advise anyone to rush into marriage because it never ends well.
She concluded by saying that actresses who dress indecently to gain followers should think again, stressing that most Nigerian men actually prefer women who cover up.
“If God has a man who goes to the age of six, I won’t wait until he is five and a half. If God says he will go to the top of the mountain, he will not stop until he reaches the top of the mountain.
If you ask Nigerian men, they’ll tell you they prefer their women covered,” she added.
