Veteran Nollywood actress, Jumoke George, has urged Nigerians to come to her aid during her trying time.
She recently revealed that she has been homeless for close to six years, and help seems to be coming from nowhere.
Speaking recently via a viral clip, Jumoke said mothers across the country should say a prayer on her behalf because she can no longer bear the pain of having no home while her child is nowhere to be found.
According to her, her firstborn born who goes by the name Adeola, has gone missing since 2021, and he has heard nothing about the whereabouts of her kid 4 years later.
The actress revealed that her health is also bad at the moment, and despite running to God as a true Christian, her problems have only worsened.
Revealing that she is always in pain after several check-ups at the hospital, she begged her fellow citizens to assist her financially so she can go for her brain and heart tests to ascertain the reason for her bad health.
“Please mothers pray for me, mothers in the world please help me with your prayers. I have never ruined anyone. I am tired, I can no longer bear it. I don’t have a home, I don’t have anything and my child is missing.
I don’t have good health. I am exhausted. I have tried as a Christian. My first born Adeola has been missing for the past four years. I have been sick since January 2.
I have done several tests, what is remaining is brain and heart test and it is N400,000, I don’t know where to find it. I don’t sleep, I am always in pain. I don’t have a house, I’ve been living in the church for the past 5 to 6 years. My church mommy is the one who feeds me sometimes,” she said.
As a show of support for the veteran actress, fellow movie star Biola Adebayo came out to urge Nigerians to help Jumoke George however they can.
Reacting via her Instagram page, she wrote that her colleague’s plight is so painful and disheartening, and her heart wrenching message compelled her to also speak out on her behalf.
Biola shared that her voice note troubled her heart so much that she immediately visited the actress alongside the crew to speak to her in person.
“I received a heart wrenching message from madam Jumoke George, recounting her painful and disheartening situation.
The content of the voice note troubled my heart so much that I couldn’t wait any moment longer where I was, so I urgently moved myself and my crew to the place she is staying. After listening to her story, my heart cannot hold the pain.
Madam Jumoke George desperately needs our help and I hope we will come through for her.
She also shared Jumoke’s account details for those willing to help, Margaret Olajumoke Olatunde
GTBank – 0215498017,” she added.
