Leading Vice Presidential Candidates Idahosa, Shettima, Okowa and Datti Baba-Ahmed Meet US Private Sector to Discuss Infrastructure, Digitalisation
Vice Presidential Candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, Friday December 2, joined his counterparts from the other three leading parties in the 2023 general elections, Kashim Shettima of All Progressive Congress, Ifeanyi Okowa of Peoples Democratic Party, and Datti Baba-Ahmed of the Labour Party to dialogue with the US Private Sector in Lagos.
The event put together by American Business Council was held at the US Consul-General residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The essence of the event was for the presidential candidates and their strategy team to discuss their party’s infrastructure and digital transformation plans for Nigeria.
Audience for the event were drawn from boadrooms across US companies and key stakeholders in the diplomatic corps.
The American Business Council is the voice of American Private Sector Business in Nigeria and the affiliate of the US Chamber of Commerce in DC.

The Council as an American Chamber drives
trade and investment opportunities between the two countries and in the interest of the over 75 US Companies. They also partner with organizations like the NESG and the Lagos Business School to drive socio – economic conveersations needed to drive growth and enable a fecund business environment for the private sector in general.
