MAGGI is doubling down on its Ramadan commitment this year, rolling out a sweeping national campaign that blends cultural storytelling with grassroots community engagement — and the centerpiece is a six-episode drama series that is already turning heads.
Tales of Ramadan Season 2 made its debut at a glamorous premiere held at EbonyLife Place on Victoria Island, Lagos, where guests arrived in abaya-inspired attire against décor designed to evoke the calm and warmth of the holy season. The series has since gone live across terrestrial television, cable networks and major digital platforms nationwide.
Building on the momentum of its debut season, the new installment raises the creative stakes with more layered storytelling and sharper cinematic production. Helmed by director Orire Nwani and producer Goodness Emmanuel, the six episodes navigate themes of faith, food, family, friendship, forgiveness and freedom — everyday realities that resonate deeply in Nigerian Muslim households during Ramadan. Each episode stands on its own, yet all are threaded together by a single, resonant idea: that Ramadan is ultimately about reflection, generosity and returning to what matters most.
Funmilayo Osineye, Category Manager for Culinary at MAGGI, captured the brand’s intent at the premiere. “Ramadan is a season where food carries deeper meaning,” she said, noting that the campaign is designed to go well beyond product promotion and into genuine cultural participation.
The series, which premiered on February 12, 2026, airs weekly and is accessible across multiple platforms.
Off-screen, MAGGI has built an equally ambitious consumer engagement plan. Shoppers will find extra-cube value offers in MAGGI STAR sachets throughout the season, while experiential activations in modern trade outlets are rewarding buyers with premium gifts. Certified nutritionists are also on hand at select locations to offer free dietary guidance tailored to fasting routines — a practical touch that signals the brand’s awareness of the health considerations the season brings.
Perhaps the boldest move in the campaign is MAGGI’s partnership with mosques and tertiary institutions to host Iftar pop-up experiences, with a target of reaching over 100,000 consumers through shared meals and product sampling. The brand is also working alongside influencers on community give-back initiatives, extending the spirit of Ramadan beyond the kitchen table.
Taken together, the campaign positions MAGGI not merely as a seasoning brand but as an active participant in the cultural and communal fabric of Ramadan — one that understands the season’s spiritual weight and is willing to meet consumers within it.
