The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was involved in a ghastly motor accident on the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
Apples Bite Magazine gathered that Akpoti-Uduaghan was involved in a fatal accident on Friday while on her way to Abuja and was returning to Lokoja for the Sunday governorship primary.
It was gathered that her Sports utility vehicle hit a curb on the road, injuring the passengers in the car. The accident was reported by witnesses to have occurred along the Abuja-Lokoja highway. “When she came around and discovered she was in Lokoja, FTH, she requested to be transferred to Abuja that night. They left here shortly after 6 pm for Abuja. She was stable,” one witness said.

Natasha recently filed a tribunal challenging her senatorial election results.
According to Apples Bite, the Election Petition Tribunal has granted Natasha’s request to serve a notice of the petition on Abubakar Sadiku-Ohere through substituted means.
It was gathered that Ohere had avoided being served since the petition was filed in court.
According to reports, Ohere hired thugs and police officers to guard his home and chase away PDP lawyers.
As of then, the lawyers went with the court bailiff to serve Ohere but the thugs assaulted and chased them away.
Akpoti-Uduaghan challenged Ohere’s victory before the tribunal and also joined the Independent National Electoral Commission and the APC in the suit.
Ohere was announced by INEC as the winner of the just concluded National Assembly elections.
Rotimi Ajayi, returning officer for the Kogi Central Senatorial district, said the APC candidate garnered 52,132 votes to beat the PDP flag bearer who had 51,763 votes.
In the petition filed by her lawyer, Natasha is asking the tribunal to sack her opponent and declare her the winner of the poll.
