OGD’s GFF@25 Medical Outreach Targets 15,000 Residents in Ogun East

As part of activities marking the 25th anniversary of the Gateway Front Foundation (GFF), former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), has launched a large-scale medical outreach targeting 15,000 residents across Ogun East Senatorial District.

The medical intervention is taking place at 14 locations across the district, with nearly 1,000 major and minor surgical procedures planned as part of efforts to improve access to healthcare for residents.

At Redeemers Health Village, American medical doctors were seen examining patients on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, ahead of scheduled surgical operations. The examinations are intended to assess patients’ medical conditions and determine their suitability for the planned procedures before treatment begins.

The involvement of the American medical team forms part of the broader healthcare initiative designed to bring medical services closer to residents across the participating communities.

The outreach combines medical assessments with surgical interventions, offering beneficiaries an opportunity to receive treatment for various health conditions. The programme is also expected to ease some of the challenges faced by residents who may have limited access to medical care.

With activities spread across 14 locations in Ogun East, the initiative is designed to reach a significant number of people within the senatorial district. The target of 15,000 beneficiaries and nearly 1,000 surgical procedures highlights the scale of the healthcare intervention.
