Reports reaching Applesbite at the moment confirmed that a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member has been hospitalized after his head was smashed during the Osun State governorship election.
The corps member was attached to the Atakumosa West Local Government Area of the state.

Due to the development, the collation officer for Atakunmosa West LGA, Adeola Oluigbe has announced that the result of the polling unit where the incident happened was cancelled.
Applesbite learnt that the victim was the presiding officer at the polling unit.
It was unclear yet what led to the disturbing incident but the affected corps member is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed health facility.
