World Conqueror Ministry Pastor, Monday Nwajiri, expresses concern about threats to his life from fellow kinsmen regarding his landed properties. The Lagos-based clergyman, hailing from Mba in Abia State, has called on Nigerians, particularly the Inspector General of Police and other security agencies, to intervene. Nwajiri narrates his ordeal, perplexed by the sudden animosity from his own relatives, who, instead of supporting him, seem determined to harm him and destroy his properties.
In an exclusive interview with journalists in Lagos on Monday Nwajiri reveals that he reported the case to the community police station and escalated it to the state police headquarters. Despite police instructions to maintain the status quo, Uche Ndionyenma and his group defied the orders, vandalizing properties belonging to Nwajiri.

Nwajiri emphasizes that the matter was reported to the police on October 3, 2023, and a letter urging the gang leader, Mr. Uche Ndionyenma, to cease violence against him was delivered. Additional reports of conspiracy, harassment, assault, breach of peace, forcible entry, and threats to his life were submitted to the Assistant Inspector of Police at Zone 9 police headquarters in Umuahia, Abia State, on October 5, 2023.

Last month, the church’s lawyer wrote petitions addressing criminal trespass, intimidation, threat to life, and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace. These petitions were copied to the Abia State Commissioner of Police. Despite demands for the arrest of seven individuals, only two were apprehended and released the same day. The police promised to schedule a meeting between the parties, but as of October 7, 2023, no appointment had been fixed, and the destruction of Nwajiri’s property continued in defiance of police orders.
Nwajiri identifies those threatening him as Elesia Uche, Sunday Obiakor, Uche Ndionyenma, Elder John Uche, Uche Emmanuel Ndionyenma, Sunday Emenike Nwajiri, Gabriel Uche Nwajiri, Sunday Obiako Nwajiri, Chibuzor Okoronkwo Nwajiri, Uche Emezie, and others whose names he cannot recall.
He asserts that the property was legally and traditionally given to him, expressing bewilderment at the aggression from his own relatives. Nwajiri, known for his commitment to peace, calls on Nigerians at home and abroad to hold Uche Ndionyenma and the mentioned individuals responsible if any harm befalls him or his family members. He urges the police to act decisively and bring the culprits to justice, expressing gratitude for the police force’s steadfast response and lamenting the disrespect shown by his opponents towards the law.
