Plateau Senator-elect Vows Not To Betray Constituents’ Trust

Senator-elect representing Plateau Central zone Hon Diket Plang has pledged his commitment to improve the lives of the people of the zone through ensuring quality legislation.
He made this known while speaking to newsmen in Jos.
Plang, who was elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) reaffirmed his commitment not to betray the trust reposed on him with the promise to live up to the people’s expectations.
The senator-elect said he was opportuned to have represented his people as a councillor and later led as chairman of Pankshin Local Government as part of his current constituency.
According to him, he was also a commissioner in Plateau Government and an adviser to two different governors.
“I was elected to the Plateau State House of Assembly and I represented the good people of Pankshin North Constituency.”
In his words “Armed with these experiences, I will ensure provision of education, health care services, and enhance support to agriculture, security, among others.”
“I would be Senator to all citizens of my constituency regardless of tribe, religion and party affiliation, I would work to tackle insecurity and attract projects to my Senatorial zone.”
He maintained that he will also sponsor bills and contribute to legislation that will benefit my constituents, strengthen democracy and add value to governance. I am prepared for the Job, I am a grassroot Politician and I know the challenges in my constituency, I would bring succour to all citizens of Plateau Central Senatorial district,” he added.
He primrosed to empower farmers and build several earth dams in my Zone, adding “We would ensure roads are built in my Senatorial district.”
Plang further pointed out that his team will unite the people as he “will work with all relevant bodies to bring the people together.”
He called on the people of the zone to support his quest to better their lives.
